" The coach is constantly working with the kids to make sure the kids have their priorities in order. He stresses the importance of schoolwork, getting to bed on time, eating well, not letting video games affect the important aspects of life, staying away from the bad crowd, etc. The kids on the team understand that all of those things will have an impact on their lives, as well as their game-play. I hear him reiterate this to his team quite often during practices. He does not tolerate bad sportsmanship either. This not only includes respect for opposing players but also the referees. "
