Lateral movement is an important aspect of so many parts of the game of football

The purpose of the snapshot is the quick release. It's all about the transfer of your weight, however, you're hitting right behind the puck and as you come through you're snapping your wrist over.

Taking a wrist shot starts with your legs. As you go through this motion, you're starting with your weight on the back leg and will end by transferring the weight to your front foot.
