Skateboarding

Skateboarding is a sport based on skill and technique, with athletes working to master tricks that range from simple kickflips to challenging moves. The sport is popular among kids as a recreational activity often played in driveways or parking lots. At a competitive level, skateboarders can participate in two different disciplines: street or park, with both giving athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills and tricks. The sport will make its Olympic debut in Tokyo at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.
