RISE has compiled a glossary of terms that often arise within these conversations. These definitions aren’t designed to be extensive. The purpose was to create common ground from which productive discussions about race and racism could occur. We recognize that some of these concepts can have nuanced meanings, and we encourage you to learn more about each term and concept to expand your knowledge.
